BEGINNER PROJECT

Includes 2 oz each of 12 premium (Japanese Seed Beads) Miyuki delica colors and 14g wire. You need to supply beading thread and some wire tools.

The kit instructions teach basic peyote and a little bit of basic wireworking. Kits are currently available either in a brighter range than the pastel sample shown to the right OR in a mixture of browns, blacks, and whites. If you have a custom color combination you want, then please email me and I'll be happy to accomodate you - the kit needs 8 or more colors (photo to the right shows the kit made up with 9 colors).

Peacock Feather Bead Embroidered and Woven Cuff Bracelet TUTORIAL

ADVANCED PROJECT
This tutorial pattern comes with a listing of the exact delica color numbers you'll need, detailed directions and a peyote graph; you must know how to read these before you try this pattern. This also discusses optional finishing and up to 8 clasping techniques. This pattern is 14 pages long.

This pattern requires you know both even and odd count peyote stitch, and decreasing in peyote. I sort of explain it in the text, but really, most of my time here is spent on the cabochon, the pattern of the peacock feather and some new finishing techniques. Graph is in delicas, but I also give the seed bead names to make the piece in 11/0 seed beads, shown to the right. There is no word chart in the pattern - you need to be able to read a graph.
